We are delighted to announce the appointment of four new members to its board of trustees.
Mumin Humayun, Negar Mihanyar, Anusha Nirmalananthan and Harriet Riches have joined the board of trustees at a crucial period for the charity, as we continue to implement our five-year strategy focused on expanding our programmes and deepening our impact.
Welcoming the appointments, Adrian Ball, Chair of Trustees said:
“I am delighted to welcome Mumin, Negar, Anusha and Harriet. They bring an enormous wealth of experience to an already strong board. Their professional backgrounds spanning education and business, together with their passion for our mission means the board of trustees will continue to steward the organisation from strength to strength in the years to come.”
Gaby Sumner Chief Executive of Villiers Park added:
“Last year, Villiers Park supported more than 1,350 young people to get ready for university, training and the world of work. But with social mobility stagnating and the continued challenges from lost learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the cost of living crisis, we know that our work to support under-represented young people has never been more important.
“As a charity with a track record for empowering young people and changing lives, I am so pleased to welcome Mumin, Negar, Anusha and Harriet to our board of trustees. Villiers Park works hand in hand with schools, colleges, universities and employers, so our new trustees’ experience in education and the private sector will help us deliver even greater impact.”
