Throughout his career, Gordon has worked tirelessly to open up education and training opportunities for young people across the country. Whilst I’m sad to see Gordon step down from our board, I’m sure his contribution to our cause will continue for many years to come”.
“I’m proud as a trustee to have been engaged in developing and expanding Villiers Park’s programmes, widening our catchment areas for young people at crucial points in their future - to gain confidence, skills for life and paths to good jobs and careers.
“I‘ve admired and have been full of praise for our staff in our Villiers Park hubs, who go the extra mile supporting young people to gain confidence. It has been a privilege to speak to and see their enthusiasm and pride as they progress in our programmes.
“As I and my colleagues in the ‘Right to Learn’ campaign intensify our commitment to lifelong learning in education and skills at a crucial time, my hope is that Villiers Park will continue to battle for young people's life chances”
